Finding a Legitimate Company to work with

In the last few weeks it has become apparent to me that there is such a growing number of people seriously looking for the ‘home jobs’ these days. Understandably, the current economic situation is a driving factor for more folks than ever to seek out some relief by adding to their ‘regular’ income, or being in a situation that means they need to replace income that has been lost.

Regardless of the reason, there seem to be more scams than the genuine thing in the ‘work at home’ crowd so I have dug around and come up with a few that are certifiably legitimate. Please remember that when ever you do apply for these programs, that even if there is the opportunity to make really good money – it will always be up to you in the end, to make it successful!  There is (unfortunately) a large number of people that want to think working at home is a Free Ride and you can get your coffee, turn on the computer and watch the money spit out of the monitor.

Well, it isn’t quite that simple! Much like anything else you ‘work’ at, even a 8-5 job in an office, if you slough off you are not going to go very far. So, plan on digging in! You will have a learning curve with something new, and it will take a little time to get proficient at managing your own time but the longer you do it the better you are and the easier it will get.

Now, on to the meat of the matter.
This is just a small sampling of the legitimate, confirmed companies that will actually put you to work. They are in no particular order.

1.     Alpine Access

This group has been in business since 1998 and have home workers that provide a virtual call center service. They are very flexible about hours and rather stringent on qualifications for their agents. The program has an in-depth screening process including background, credit and drug testing (a portion of the cost is born by the applicant) that must be passed before accepting any assignments. The employment is legitimate and flexible, and a very good idea for anyone wanting to do call center work from home. Take note that there are specific guidelines that the home worker’s phone and computer equipment must meet as well.

2.    My-Data-Team

Another one of the successful companies that actually have jobs for people. There are several different divisions in this organization.

Here are a few examples:

  • Word Processing
  • General Transcription
  • Business Coding
  • Legal Transcription
  • Document Data Recording
  • Input Data Capturing
  • Data Research

They are also guaranteed and awarded by the Better Business groups. They require a small fee for registration and software costs. World wide clients have contracted them to fill work requirements and they use homebased agents to do that.

Those are just a couple of the top legitimate companies I have found. I will update with others at a later time.

Best to all,
Andie
